Patient COVID-19 Policy

To create a safe environment for our patients and team members, in response to the rapidly-changing COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, Functional Medicine of Nevada is doing our best to abide by CDC COVID-19 Policy guidelines.

We are requiring all patients and team members to wear a face mask while inside our clinic.

Upon arriving at the clinic, you will be asked to complete a COVID screening questionnaire before your appointment begins. Please understand this is to comply with current guidelines and exist to keep our team and patients safe.

Our team has implemented safety precautions in our waiting room, including spacing chairs 6 feet apart to promote social distancing and continual sanitization of check-in / check-out spaces and high-touch / high-traffic surfaces. Exam rooms are sanitized between patients.

Patients are allowed to bring one immediate family member.

If you test positive for Coronavirus within 3 days AFTER an appointment at FMN, please notify our team immediately so that we may take the necessary steps. In the case of a high risk exposure, any potentially exposed patients or team members will be notified via phone call.

If you are exhibiting symptoms of the COVID-19 virus or feel uncomfortable being seen in person, we have telemedicine options for you. You are welcome to call the clinic to speak with a team member about symptoms, screening criteria, risk factors, and precautions. The health and safety of our patients and team members are our first priority. We appreciate your cooperation with our COVID-19 policy that enables us to serve more people in a safer capacity.
